Welcome to the Placer Hills Union School District website!

It is an honor and a privilege to serve the students, staff, and parents of Placer Hills Union School District as superintendent. Placer Hills Union School District is nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills and truly has the quintessential small town warmth. It is a hidden gem, where kids can be kids, the schools are the hub of the communities, and life is good. We are a small school district comprised of two schools: Sierra Hills Elementary (TK-3) and Weimar Hills School (4-8). Placer Hills is a district not only known for its academic excellence and extracurricular activities, but also positive community relationships.

With a rich academic history, Placer Hills strives to ensure meaningful traditions are threaded with innovative practices. The Placer Hills Board of Trustees, as stated in their vision and mission statements, are dedicated to educating students to become contributing, global citizens in the 21st century. The district is dedicated to maintaining and growing rigorous learning environments, where students feel a sense of belonging and grow academically, emotionally, and socially, becoming lifelong learners.

As superintendent, I will be positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative to ensure all of our students and staff have the tools and environments they need to be successful. I am looking forward to a rewarding school year!
