Sierra Hills School opened on January 24, 1995. It is the result of more than 5 years of planning and a long process of seeking funding from the State.

SHS is a K-3 school with 23 classrooms, including a library, computer lab, and special facilities, located on a 10-acre site next to the ARD Park.

Our school has a multi-purpose room with a regulation basketball and volleyball court with wood floor and bleacher seating. We have a raised stage for school performances and other community activities. Our full kitchen serves meals for Sierra Hills.

Approximately 350 students attend this California Distinguished School.

We have adopted an owl as our mascot "Woodsy" and the phone number is 878-WISE.

We have a garden area and playground/equipment for all students. The community and parents have been instrumental in helping SHS and supporting us in our new projects. We are in a great place with great people!
